Gate and Attendance

STFC first show looks to be a box office success. The promotion was able to sell 874 tickets for a total gate of $49,760 which is the leading gate this year for any RGV promotion. Cavazos Boxing produced a show on March 11 and was able to sell two hundred more tickets than STFC but still came in with a gate of $41,842. The difference seems to be the result of the pricing tier each promotion has for their events. Cavazos had a three-tier structure with their highest ticket being $72.50 while STFC also had a three-tier pricing structure with their highest ticket coming in at $100. Both events were held at the same location as well so it’s a bit interesting to see such a difference especially when the highest ticket sells brought in less money.
